Just When You Thought a Bad Economy and a Down Housing Market was the Worst Thing a Real Estate Agent had to face:
Carroll County Community Theatre presents the drama Dracula. Based on Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel and adapted by Steven Dietz, this play offers a full-blooded portrait of the immortal Transylvanian vampire and his horrified real estate agent, Jonathan Harker. Directed by Michelle Rougier. Dracula will be presented at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center on September 30-October 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets $10. NEW TWIRLING CLASSES & CAMPS

Remember when the majorettes stole the show at the half time of every high school football game with their baton twirling? The Carrollton Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is announcing the formation of Twirling Classes to be taught by Tara Hafer, former twirler at Carrollton High School and the University of West Georgia. Classes will be held at the East Carrollton Recreation Center. Registration is underway at the Tracy Stallings Community Center. Each participant must have a baton, which is also available at registration. If you have an aspiring twirler in your family, call 770-832-1161 to register or visit the website at cprcad.org
