The C.H. Lavender Recreation Center (formally the West Carrollton Center) hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 7 pm, Saturday, 2-7 pm, and closed on Sunday. Summer hours are 8 am-7 pm while Day Camp is in session.

The gymnasium has been renovated but the Center is new.  The new building houses a weight room, arts and crafts room, computer room, game room and a large multi-purpose room which can be converted into 3 separate areas with folding doors.  The multi-purpose room and the Arts & Crafts room will be available to rent for special events.  We look forward to serving our community for many years to come.

The West Carrollton Center is a multi-purpose complex, consisting of a gymnasium, four classrooms, a computer lab, fitness room as well as a ball field. Center hours are 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturdays, and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sundays.

Rental of the Gymnasium is $50 an hour for non-profit groups and $100 an hour for groups charging fees or selling products. Scrimmages are $20 per hour and games $30 per hour. Tournaments are $150 per day. Daytime rental of the ball field is $10 per hour or $20 per hour with lights.

 Fees shown are for residents of Carroll County and those who work or go to school in Carroll County.  For all others, fees will be doubled.
