2010 MeccaFest Patron Purchase Awards

You are invited to support our MeccaFest Fine Arts Festival artists, sponsored by the Carrollton Artist Guild, by making a financial commitment to purchase art from the exhibits featured at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center on October 9 and 10, 2010.

This program has been highly received by those participating in previous years as well as encouraging participation from over 70 visiting artists from across the United States.  Participating is easy:

• Purchase as many awards as you want ($50 each). Be sure to fill out application below.
• Attend the Patron Purchase Reception at the loft home of Tom and Jan Nielsen (108 Rome Street) on Friday, October 8 from 7-9PM to meet the artists.
• Attend the Mecca Festival on Saturday and pick up your award ribbons and $50 Mecca Bucks at the Artist Oasis.
• Use the $50 Mecca Buck to purchase art of your choice. (You must spend the entire amount but are free to spend more)
• Artwork must be purchased by 1:00 PM on Sunday. Unclaimed ribbons will be assumed to be donations and will be used to purchase art for the facility.
• Present the same artist with an award ribbon (with your name or business printed on it.)
• We will reimburse the artists for the Mecca Bucks, so no one is out any money!
• Enjoy your artwork and Thank you for participating.

Why We Do this: This is a fun win-win program that benefits the artists and the patrons equally. There is no commission on these awards. However, knowing that a large sum of art is pre-sold through the Patron's purchase program encourages the nation's finest artists to participate in the MeccaFest Fine Arts Festival. It is why many artists call us the "most artist friendly show in the country."
